The American College of Financial Services

Michael S. Finke is The American College of Financial Services’ Dean and Chief Academic Officer. He holds a concurrent professorship in Texas Tech University’s Personal Financial Planning Department.

Dr. Finke is a nationally renowned researcher whose academic interests probe such topics as the value of financial advice, financial planning regulation, investments and individual investor behavior. Investment News ranked him among its “Power 20” in 2013 and 2014, and Investment Advisor magazine named him to its “IA 25” list in 2012.

Finke, and another colleague, Thomas Langdon, J.D., LL.M., CFP®, CFA, won the award in 2013.

Finke has published more than 50 peer-reviewed articles.
